General Orientation is a Two Day Training Program, which is part of the on boarding process. In this training, the Islanders learn about the information on the Company and the resort, as well as the company culture, product knowledge, HR Benefits and regulations, Security & Safety procedures, and a lot more essential information. They also experience the “Guest Experience” Program where they will have breakfast in the restaurant, joining a UFC session, tour the villas, and a familiarization show around the resort to see the resort facilities.
Train the Trainer

Train The Trainers is a Three-Day Training Program.
This training aims to certify Departmental Trainers in order to have a well-structured and systematic Departmental Training program. In this workshop, the participants learn about Adult Learning Principles, SOP Development, Skills & Knowledge Training delivery, Classroom management, giving & receiving feedback, introducing a Training system, and many more training topics.
Food Safety Audit and HACCP Foundation Training
March 21 – 23, 2018
Food Safety Audit is conducted on a bi-monthly basis. This audit is to ensure that our resort practices food safety & hygiene measures are implemented in of all outlets. The Foundation of HACCP is also conducted for all food handlers, which is an 8-hour training program where the participants learn about the foundation of HACCP and how to implement it in their daily work.
March 8 and 22, 2018
Finolhu Huddle is a Team Building event, which is held fortnightly for all Leaders in the Island.
We started with a light exercise, followed by a team building game, team sport game and ended with a brainstorming session to gather new ideas to be implemented. The focus at present is on Brand Traits where we identify new guest experiences, which can be implemented in the resort.
