FINOLHU – June 2018

Message from the Resort Manager

Welcome to the month four update of our Island Roohu blog.Marc

Finolhu is proud and happy to announce two successful years in business which was celebrated on 17th June 2018 to thank all the Islanders who have embarked with us on this wonderful adventure since pre-opening and all those who joined along the way.

The low season has been rich in activities for our Islanders, a good time to consolidate the team with more activities organised.  I hope you all enjoyed the Eid celebrations and all the efforts put together to make this celebration a success.

Finolhu, Amilla Fushi, Soneva Fushi, Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru, Dusit Thani and Vakkarau Maldives all located in Baa Atoll have come together to celebrate the Summer Festival with a bang in Baa Atoll calling it the “Baa Atoll Festival 2018”.  This first ever and one-of-its-kind festival will be held from 20th July to 3rd August 2018, bringing the best each resort has to offer in the dining scene.

I would like to seize the opportunity to highlight the great job done by our Sales Team. It has been another successful year, thanks to their hard work.  We are still going through the low season but very positive about upcoming months and getting ready for the busy season coming soon.

Thank you Team, for your renewed commitment.

Yours sincerely,
Marc Reader

HEALTHY TIPS BY JACKIE – ASSISTANT COVE CLUB MANAGER

Benefits of Drinking Water

Water

Aids in weight loss

Drinking water helps boost your metabolism, cleanse your body of waste, and acts as an appetite suppressant. In addition, drinking more water helps your body stop retaining water, leading you to drop those extra pounds of water weight

Maintains Regularity

Aids in digestion, as water is essential to digest your food and prevents constipation so next time you feel bloated reach for a glass of water.

Natural Headache Remedy

Helps relieve and prevent headaches (migraines & back pains too!) which are commonly caused by dehydration.

Water for Skin:

Just like the other organs of our body, skin is also made of several cells. Skin cells like any other organ cells require water to function properly. Some of the benefi

ts of water to the skin include:

Water is essential to maintain the optimum skin moisture and deliver essential nutrients to the skin cells. It replenishes the skin tissue and increases its elasticity. This helps delay the appearance of signs of ageing like wrinkles and fine lines

Fluid balance

Roughly, 60 percent of the body is made of water. Drinking enough water maintains the body’s fluid balance, which helps transport nutrients in the body, regulate body temperature, digest food, and more.
